Can you craft sledgehammers in Permafrost?
Why a sledgehammer blueprint can be present without a usable crafting recipe.

A blueprint can be a placeholder
Sledgehammer crafting is not implemented for the placeholder entries. Refined Flint Sledgehammer is a known example: owning or learning that blueprint does not mean a workbench recipe is available.
Copper, Iron, and Refined Iron blueprint names likewise should not be treated as proof that the corresponding craftable weapon is available.
What to do with a missing recipe
Check the blueprint’s unlocked item once, then check your workbench. If no recipe is listed, do not spend more points or build extra stations solely to unlock it. Restarting your world is not a reliable solution.
