Permafrost map and location finder

Open the interactive map

Use the Permafrost interactive map on WikiTactics. Search for an item or location with Find on the map, then enable the relevant layer: loot, recordings, recipes, ore, or fast travel.

Select a result and use Show on map to jump to its marker. Turn off unrelated layers when markers overlap.

Use markers as an area guide

Settlement layouts and travel-post positions have changed during Early Access. In particular, the Solar warehouse and Crow’s Nest posts have moved. Search the surrounding area and use the in-game interaction prompt to identify the current object.

A map’s displayed result count is not a promise of that many mineable deposits. Website marker coordinates also are not in-game XYZ coordinates.

Common searches

• Moon Rock: search around the Woods, Solar Fields, and Crater, then check your pickaxe.
• Fast travel: look for the fixed sledges at settlements.
• The Lost Wife: use the recording number and nearby building as well as the marker.
